“Tervahöyryristeily”, or “Tervis”, is the traditional 4-day summer trip arranged annually in either the northern or southern parts of Savonia. During the trip, we fare the Savonian lakes on a cruise ship, familiarise ourselves with the local communities and attractions and enjoy the Finnish summer (independently if it rains or not).

The trip of 2026 will cost around 60€ for vuksis/freshmen, 90€ for ciivis and 130€ for others.

There is a quota on the number of participants per category (vuksi/freshman, ciivis), and the remaining spots are filled based on order of registration.

The summer trip contains a bunch of scheduled activities but also free time to spend however you want with the fellow cruisers. Furthermore, every participant is tasked to a few chores such as cooking or cleaning to make the trip affordable and, primarily, more enjoyable to everyone.

For freshmen, or “vuksit”, Tervis is full of new and sometimes surprising experiences and happenings. Please inform the Admiral or the freshmen responsible person if you feel stressed about new situations and want to know more about them ahead of Tervis. Please note that some of the events during Tervis are secretful on purpose, so there is a spoiler alert involved here. Some people may also experience Tervis to be socially exhaustive, however, we do encourage people to try and be engaged during Tervis as the trip is one of the annual highlights Savolainen osakunta has to offer!
